Shipping & returns

Last updated 28 September 2026

A BANIYAN piece is made after you order it, then it travels. Making takes two to three weeks, and delivery after that is a separate wait. Inside the EU, the price on the page is the price that arrives.

01Where we ship

We ship to every country in the EU and to the United Kingdom. The shipping location you confirm on arrival sets both the country we can send to and the currency you see.

Prague, Amsterdam, London: if the country is on that list, we can send it. If it is not, we will not take the order and work out a route afterwards.

02Two waits, not one

Nothing is cut until the order is placed. Production and a check of the seam take two to three weeks. Dispatch starts after that. This is the window stated before you pay, and it is also in the terms of service.

Your order is made at the certified EU facility nearest the delivery address, so the carrier leg is usually short and most parcels never leave the region they were cut in. Once the parcel leaves the workshop, most orders arrive within three to seven business days. That second window belongs to the carrier — a delay in transit is not the same as a delay in making.

03What you pay to send it

Delivery is free on orders over €80. Under that, the carrier’s fee is shown before you pay, in the same currency as the clothes.

Over €80 we cover the carrier’s fee ourselves. It is the same service at the same speed — not a cheaper, slower option in disguise.

04Duties

Inside the EU there are no customs duties on a BANIYAN order. The amount at checkout is the amount you pay — we do not add a handling line afterwards.

The United Kingdom is on the shipping list, and orders going outside the EU may be subject to local duties. We would rather say so here than have it turn up on your doorstep.

05If the parcel is wrong

If tracking says delivered and nothing is in your hands, write to support@baniyan.com with the order number. We take it up with the carrier.

If the piece arrives damaged, mis-made, or not as described, we repair, replace, or refund it. Photographs and the order number are enough to start. We cover the return of a faulty piece.

06Change of mind

Each garment is cut for the order. We do not keep a spare in the next size. A return because the colour or the size was reconsidered after production began is limited for that reason. The size guide is there so the fit is chosen before the cloth is cut.

If the law where you live requires a cooling-off period for distance sales, that right stands. Write to support@baniyan.com, or through the contact form, and we will tell you how to use it. We reply within one to two business days.

07What happens to a return

A piece that does come back — faulty, or covered by a right you are owed — does not go to landfill. It is cleaned and passed on to a second owner where that is possible, and recycled where it is not.

Making to order stops the unsold pile from forming in the first place. It does not mean a return has nowhere to go, and we would rather give a garment a second life than send it to landfill.
